New Book Coming Soon: Me Llamo Checkers

Over the past few months, I’ve been working on another beautiful book.
It’s called Me Llamo Checkers, and it tells a heartwarming adoption story.
The book will be published on August 8 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon and the publisher’s website.

For now, I’m sharing the cover, some character samples, and early concept sketches.

I’ll be posting more about this project soon — stay tuned!

Biographical Adventures: Five Legends, Five Stories!

Lately, I’ve been traveling through time!
I’ve created five biographical illustrations, each one celebrating an incredible figure who left their mark on the world in their own special way.

👉 The Brothers Grimm collecting fairy tales, one curious character at a time.

👉 Louis Pasteur mixing science and a little bit of magic.

👉 Harvey Milk leading with pride and hope.

👉 Agatha Christie brewing mysteries and tea at the same time.

👉 Paul Gauguin chasing colors and stories in distant lands.

It’s been such a fun journey to bring these iconic figures to life with a playful twist!

A Special Holiday Book Project! 🎄📚

I’m happy to share that The Other Father Christmas — a heartwarming festive picture book written by Serena Holly and illustrated by me — is now live on Kickstarter!

This project is the first publication from Storymix, a London-based inclusive fiction studio, and it’s been a real joy to bring the magical story to life through illustration.

If you'd like to learn more or support the project, you can visit the Kickstarter page.

Thanks for your support! 🎅✨

Jacq Has Celiac

These are some illustrations from the book "Jacq has Celiac," one of two books about celiac disease that I recently illustrated. The books are filled with useful information about celiac disease and explain everything in simple language for both children and adults.
