Smile for The Camera

 

These illustrations were created for the children’s book Smile for the Camera, published by Kalimat Publishing.

The story follows a young boy and his grandfather as they wander through the vibrant streets of Sharjah, capturing the city through the lens of a camera. Along the way, the boy photographs iconic landmarks and meaningful places, turning their walk into a journey of discovery.

Through this visual narrative, young readers are invited to explore the beauty of Sharjah — its architecture, cultural heritage, and rich traditions — while experiencing the special bond between generations.

THE BEST PORTRAIT ARTIST IN DECEMBER 2025

 I took part in the INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION “THE BEST PORTRAIT ARTIST IN DECEMBER 2025”. The competition featured two themes:

Theme 1: Writers Mihai Eminescu and/or Ion Luca Caragiale
Theme 2: Great writers of the world

For the first theme, I created a portrait of Mihai Eminescu, and for the second, I chose Charles Dickens. In both artworks, I combined visual elements inspired by their most famous works with a portrait of the author in the process of writing: Luceafarul for Eminescu and Oliver Twist for Dickens.

I’m delighted to share that my portrait of Mihai Eminescu was awarded the Grand Prize of the competition!

 Here are some illustrations I created for a lovely project for OUP.

The project is called Circles CB6 – Junior Chefs.
The artwork was used on-page in the Class Book story, and it was also adapted to create an animation.

A Magical Christmas Adventure Is on Its Way – The Other Father Christmas

 November 6th marks the publication of my new book, The Other Father Christmas!

A beautiful and adventurous 304-page festive novel written by Serena Holly, the pen name of award-winning authors Jasmine Richards and Priscilla Mante, and published by Storymix Books.

I’m beyond happy to have been part of this wonderful project and so excited to finally see it come to life!

The Cake Lover Giant

 I’ve just published a sweet story! The book is called “The Cake Lover Giant” and it tells the story of Patrick, a boy trying to rescue his adoptive parents who have been kidnapped by a selfish, cake-loving giant! Patrick is small, but his greatest weapon is his intelligence.
